NEET UG: The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards. This Test was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018. It is an Entrance exam to be graduate in the medical field like a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). After clearing NEET student would be applicable and get Government or Private medical colleges in India. NEET Undergraduate (UG) provides MS/ MD courses under the National Board of Education (NBE) organization.

It is expected, NEET 2020 will be held on 3rd February to 17th February 2020. This year NTA will conduct the exam twice a year.

NTA NEET UG 2020 latest news Updates!

Most of the candidates are confused which would be the official website to know about NEET UG Registration. Dear candidates from 2019 www.nta.ac.in replaced the cbseneet.nic.in as official website. Till 2019 All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) was conducting the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Under medical graduation. Now it is no longer conducting UG course exam. The NTA conducted the NEET on February for admission into approximately 65,170 seats of MBBS and nearly 25,730 BDS courses. As per the information available on MCI & DCI websites, 470 medical colleges and 308 Dental colleges take part in the official admission process based on NEET results.

Out of the 10,90,085 students who appeared in NEET exam, 6,11,539 have passed the medical entrance examination which was held on May 7.

Qualification: Candidates must be 12th pass or its equivalent examination from any recognized board/institute  with Chemistry, Physics, Bio-technology/Biology or any other elective subject with English
PCB minimum percentage: General category candidates = 50% marks in  Physics Chemistry and Biology (PCB) group

PH category candidates = 45% marks in  Physics Chemistry and Biology (PCB) group

ST/SC/OBC category candidates = 40% marks in  Physics Chemistry and Biology (PCB) group

Age Limit: The Age criteria for appearing in NEET (UG), 2020 is as follows:

  • Unreserved Category UR born on or between 01-01-1947 and 07-05-1992
  • SC/ST/OBC Category born on or between 01-01-1947 and 07-05-1987 
Nationality: Indian

NTA NEET UG 2020 online Application Form and required Formalities?

As per latest news update, the released date of application form for registration would be before February 2019. NEET MBBS exam would be conducted in the month of May. Candidates firstly have to register their official website then they would able to apply online for neet-UG. Once you register with your valid information then you have to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, photo ID, 12th class marks & other certificates in the prescribed format and do payment through online mode only. After that print out the application form for further use.

NEET 2020 Exam Pattern

The Exam pattern of NEET is clear with last year question paper. In BDS or MBBS course candidates would be asked 180 MCQ type question of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany. According to latest news candidates have 8 different Languages (Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, and Telugu) option to attempt the exam.No online mode available for NEET UG 2020, Strictly offline mode available to give the exam i.e. Pen and paper exam. Candidates have to complete their exam within 3 hour limit time duration.
Marking Scheme:
For each correct answer candidates get 4 marks and at the same time for each wrong answer, 1 mark would deducted.
